This code list is used in association with the Description attribute which is present within the Building Part Feature Type. The code list describes the types of building features represented in the data as polygons, such as a multistorey car park, a boat house, or a lighthouse.

Air Traffic Control Tower	A building taller than its diameter from where the take off, landing and passage of aircraft traffic is managed.
Arch	A structure typically formed by a whalebone or wedge-shaped blocks of brick or stone held together by mutual pressure and supported at the sides that includes an opening that can be passed through.
Archway	A passage for vehicles that passes through a building or structure.
Bell Tower	A free standing building taller than its diameter designed principally for the ringing of suspended bells
Boat House	A building that nautical craft may pass in and out of whilst remaining in the water
Bore Hole	A building enclosing a hole through which oil, gas, water and so on, is extracted
Building	A built entity that includes a roof
Building And Dovecot	A building that includes openings and provision inside for roosting of doves or pigeons
Building And Light	A building that includes a light for illuminating the surrounding area
Building And Made Surface	A manmade surface that also forms the roof of a building below
Building With Car Park On Roof	An area for parking vehicles, where the surface of the car park forms the roof of a building below.
Building With Path on Roof	An area for the passage of pedestrians that also forms the roof of a building below
Cable Bridge	A roofed structure built to carry cables over an obstruction, typically over a river
Castle	A building which is fortified or is styled to appear to be fortified
Castle Wall	The wall of a large fortified building or set of buildings
Clock Tower	A tall, usually square, structure having a clock at the top, often with a clock face on each wall
Columbarium	A building holding human remains in urns in a manner that the urns can be accessed
Crypt	An underground or partially underground structure used as to inter the dead, normally associated with a church.
Floating Structure	A building that is floating on the surface of water.
Fog Horn	A building located near the sea that includes infrastructure to issue a loud noise during periods of reduced visibility to warn craft of danger
Gantry	A roofed structure which is elevated on supports and is designed to carry fixed or moving loads, for example, signal lights, pipes, trolleys, lifting tackle, and so on.
Hide	A roofed structure that is camouflaged from which one can view wildlife, such as birds, without disturbing them.
Kiln	A roofed structure that includes a furnace or oven for burning, baking, or drying.
Lift	A roofed structure in which a platform or cage is raised and lowered in the vertical plane to move people or material.
Lighthouse	A building containing a light to act as a nautical navigation aid
Lych Gate	A roofed structure with a gate at the entrance to a churchyard.
Martello Tower	A building of distinctive appearance built during the Napoleonic Wars for defence purposes consisting of a low round tower designed to have a gun mounted on top.
Motor Vehicle Weighbridge	A building including the apparatus for weighing road vehicles and their loads.
Multistorey Car Park	A building consistign of multiple floors for the parking or storage of vehicles
Pagoda	A building with ornamental roofs at each storey, originally based stylistically on a Buddhist temple
Pergola	A passageway of columns supporting a roof of trelliswork on which climbing plants are trained to grow.
Police Call Box	A small building specifically designed to contain a telephone that can be used to contact the police
Rail Vehicle Weighbridge	A building including the apparatus for weighing rail vehicles and their loads.
Roofed Bandstand	A roofed platform that may have one or more sides where bands play music for the public, usually in a park or on a seafront.
Roofed Chimney	A flue, that is covered or extrudes from a buidling, which discharges smoke or vapour, typically from an industrial process.
Roofed Clock Tower	A tall, usually square, building having a clock at the top, often with a clock face on each wall
Roofed Leat	A watercourse covered by a conventionally constructed roof, commonly conveying water for industrial processes
Roofed Outfall	A roofed structure through which liquids are channelled before discharge into the sea or a river.
Roofed Shaft	A building containing the vertical (or near vertical) entrance to a mine.
Roofed Tower	A tall building, in an isolated position, with no discernible purpose
Roofed Well	A constructed hole in the ground from which a supply of water is extracted that has a roof constructed over it
Ruined Building	A building in a state of decay, but retaining most or all of its roof
Shelter	A building or structure which is used to protect people from inclement weather or other adverse conditions
Signal Box	A small building of distinctive appearance, beside a rail track, housing lever mechanism historically used to work the points and signals.
Stand	A roofed structure with at least one open side and containing tiered with seats and/or standing room from which spectators can view events, usually sporting.
Static Caravan Or Mobile Home	A roofed structure designed for residential or holiday accommodation purposes, that was originally designed to be moved; either by towing short distances using small wheels, or by being placed upon a trailer. Includes structures that were originally transported as two pieces and assembled on site.
Supported Roofed Conveyor	A roofed structure that is elevated and incorporates apparatus for moving material from place to place on a moving belt or series of rollers
Telecommunications Mast	A tall roofed structure supporting the equipment for transmitting and receiving electronic signals.
Terraces	A roofed structure with at least one open side and containing a series of banked, wide steps, enabling a large number of spectators to view an event unobstructed.
Tomb	A roofed structure in which human remains are interred.
Travelling Crane	A roofed structure that contains machinery for raising and transporting heavy goods/objects, mounted on a rails, including those above ground level.
Vehicle Dip	A roofed structure that contains a place where vehicles are immersed in a disinfectant solution.
Ventilation Shaft	A roofed structure that contains a vertical, or near vertical, structure allowing the passage of air from tunnels.
Water Pumping Chamber	A roofed structure that contains a void from which fresh water is pumped to govern water flow.
Water Tower	A tall roofed structure supporting a tank or similar containing water, designed to regulate the supply of the water
Waterwheel	A roofed structure that contains a large wheel driven by the current of the water and powering a watermill.
Weir	A roofed structure that contains a strcuture that is built across a river or stream in order to control the flow of water or change its direction.
Well	A constructed hole in the ground from which a supply of water is extracted that has a roof constructed over it
Wheel House	A roofed structure housing the lifting gear at a mine
Wind Pump	A roofed structure supporting a series of blades that are rotated by the wind to pump water.
Windmill	A building of distinctive appearance that includes sails designed to be driven by the wind to grind grain or pump water
